- Original photographic prints depicting the devastation wrought by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and the resulting fires. The locations of most of the images are identified by an unknown photographer. Included in the collection are photographs of numerous damaged buildings including the Palace Hotel, Metropolitan laundry, the Shells building, the Pacific State Telephone and Telegraph Company, and the Rialto Building.

Scope and Content
A collection of original photographic prints mounted on board depicting the devastation wrought by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and the resulting fires. The locations of most of the images are identified by an unknown photographer. Included in the collection are photographs of numerous damaged buildings including the Palace Hotel, Metropolitan laundry, the Shells building, the Pacific State Telephone and Telegraph Company, and the Rialto Building.
